Privacy Policy

• EquationPlotter collects personal information when you register and subscribe to the site.
• EquationPlotter uses CardService International to take care of the submission and collection of information about your credit card and all financial transactions. EquationPlotter does not keep records of this sensitive information.
• When you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, zip code, and occupation, as well as your academic institution's name and address. You also create a Username and Password to access the different plotters within the site.
• EquationPlotter automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP Address.
• EquationPlotter uses information for the following general purposes: to fulfill your requests for products and services, improve the functionality of the plotters, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external use.
• EquationPlotter does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or if we, at our discretion, believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of EquationPlotter's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
• EquationPlotter may set and access cookies on your computer intended for you to have a better experience while on the site. Once the browser's session ends, these cookies are deleted from your computer.
• You can edit your EquationPlotter's personal profile at any time.
• New categories or programs may be added/deleted to the site from time to time.
• We reserve the right to send you information relating to the EquationPlotter's site, such as service announcements and administrative messages and to give you notice when the server may be down for upgrades or maintanence.
• We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information in order to provide products or services to you.
